STIKOM – THE LONDON SCHOOL OF PUBLIC RELATIONS – JAKARTA


Background
Everybody has the right to live, the right to experience the beauty of world and the right to feel the affection of those people around him/her. Life is given only from GOD and no one can take it besides GOD, even by a human who was created by GOD.
However, many people do not appreciate the life given by GOD. For example in our society, many people using drugs and commit free sex before marriage with their partners without feeling guilty. It happens in the world ever so often, which is the doer, came from the youth generation with a still young age.
As young generation, we feel that we have to be concerned about the condition of teenagers nowadays. In fact, drugs and free sex have become lifestyle in our youth generation. Actually they spend the times for nothing.
We realize that the growing numbers of drugs users and the people who do free sex before marriage are not only the responsibility of the government; it has become our responsibility too as the young generation. Because of that, we want to take a part in preventing the increasing numbers of drugs user and free sex.
As a part of ADSA activity plan, we as a team that are very concerned about the dangers of AIDS, DRUGS and (Casual) SEX would like to held an event, which is ADSA Club Gathering.
By this event, we hope that all ADSA members can learn and enrich our basic knowledge about drugs and HIV/AIDS. Besides that, we also would like to create awareness in STIKOM LSPR environment, especially for teenagers to live right.

Name of Event
ADSA Club – The London School of Public Relations Jakarta – Learning Basic Knowledge about the dangers of AIDS, DRUGS and (Casual) SEX. In this gathering we would also held 2 others event :
1. Education and seminar
2. Election of President ADSA Club
Objective and Aims
• To learn basic information about the dangers of drugs and HIV/AIDS.
• To gain people knowledge about HIV/AIDS on safe sex seminar especially the spreading of HIV / AIDS
• To encourage those people who live with drugs and free sex lifestyle, so that they can change their bad habits then could prevent the increase numbers of drugs users and people who do free sex before marriage in teenagers
• To motivate others for caring those people who living with HIV/AIDS, so they can be brave to step on their life
• Raise awareness on personal safety about drugs and HIV/AIDS and get to know about safe sex
• To help people who are infected by HIV/AIDS

Concept of The Event
All of the ADSA members will be expected to participate in this event. In this event there will be education and seminar section. We would invite the expert persons in this part. They are Yerri Pattinasarani, Dr. Robert, and Mr. Firman or Mr. Gerry ( Yayasan Aku Cinta Anak Bangsa ). There are 40 audiences from LSPR students and 10 VIP guest from our invitations and LSPR’s lecturers will be come to this workshop. Besides that, we also organize team building session to keep our relationship between ADSA members. Finally, we would also held the election of president ADSA Club as the peak of the event. The candidates will presented their activity plan in front of the audiences. The judges will be Mr. Onu-Njoku Allen Enyinna as LSPR ADSA Club Coordinator, Ria Ariyanti, Naviantika Estherness, Nana Labana, and Wenny Astaria.

CLUB PROFILE

What Are We?
LSPR ADSA CLUB was born on Augusts 2003 by an idea from Onu-Njoku Allen Enyinna. ADSA stands for AIDS, DRUGS and (CASUAL) SEXS AWARENESS. We are one of The London School of Public Relations (LSPR Jakarta) clubs, concerned a lot about those three sensitive issues of life;
Who Are We?
We care about the problems of AIDS, DRUGS and (CASUAL) SEX and we are divided into Executive Members, as the officer of the club and general members. General members are divided into some divisions, and each divisions has got one Executive Member as the coordinator
What are our aims?
We try to educate and create awareness among the members of ADSA and society, about the dangers of AIDS, DRUGS and (CASUAL) SEX with a hope that they can influence their environment with the same awareness
What We Do?
 We conduct a general meeting, once in every weeks
 Every general meeting contains some sessions on how to educate ourselves about the dangers of AIDS, DRUGS and (CASUAL) SEX. There are also some discussions, about the upcoming project that we are going to conduct
 We also wish to build awareness among the Indonesia citizenry about the team’s goals
